Hello and Happy New Year!

This is the inaugural post on my blog and I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. I threw this thing together with Neocities and Zonelets (shoutouts) in about an hour so please excuse it looking a little basic at the moment, it's been years since I've done any coding and my HTML is rusty.

But that's part of why this exists. The internet has been part of my life for twenty years now, and lately the urge to create something of my own has been a little too much to ignore. With how shit everything is on social media these days the idea of my own quiet little corner of the internet free of sponsored content and AI nightmares sounds very appealing!

This should hopefully be a good outlet for my writing as well. It's something I've always enjoyed but never had much reason to do outside of a school setting, especially these last few years. I'm excited to flex that muscle a little.

Anyway, that's about it for now. I'm planning on writing up something cataloguing my favorite stuff from 2024 in the near future. Beyond that I have no idea what I'll be writing about here, but we'll find out together, right?
